Young people have been doing some great work for Nature Recovery.

Winner: Joe Szymankiewicz

Joe has been doing some great work for nature recovery both at home, school , North Devon and internationally! Joe has been involved in a Rewilding project at home which has involved planting over 2000 trees, leaving the grass to grow and installing nest boxes . He has volunteered with local charity Plastic Free North Devon at their Beach cleans and Events. Joe is passionate about the environment and has been influential in bringing about changes with this at his school in his role as Earth Center Ambassador. Vinnie, from South Molton

Vinnie is one of our youngest entrants and has put up two bug hotels with some help from his Dad and has already seen bees using it! He has planted 2 trees in his garden for the birds to land in when they come and feed. Well done Vinnie!

Leon, from Merton

As part of his school project, Leon chose to learn about UN Goal 14 - Life below water. His pledge is part of his mission to be an Inspiring Changemaker and support the goal. He does beach cleans  when he visits the coast. Great work Leon!
