Where has the time gone!

The month started with a visit to Petroc's Conservation students to talk to them about how to be a optimism in the face of the climate and ecological emergency.

We also had lots of great pledges from you all!

• Appledore Primary School have been busy creating pledges to form part of their project to create a micro Biosphere reserve. This is including renovate and improve the school pond, using the children's design ideas, to create a range of new habitats and viewing spaces. They are also having a go at growing some Devon Whitebeam from seeds! Creating a wildflower patch also forms part of their wonderful nature plan. Well done all!
• Mike has started to create a flower rich road verge over 60m by sowing yellow rattle seeds
• Friends of South Molton Community Woodland are creating a wildlife rich pond
• Julia in Sticklepath is creating a wildflower patch

The Nature Recovery Declaration received more signatures! Thanks to Appledore Primary School, the Taw Fishing Club, and Hartstongue!

As the year comes to an end, we just wanted to thank each and every person that has been involved in making a pledge this year. It's been a tough year in many ways, but being part of a community that strives to make the Biosphere a better place for nature and wildlife brings us all together. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Let's see what 2022 brings!
