We are pleased to introduce Jack Woolfenden who has taken the post over from Emily. Jack has been really dynamic in working with schools to introduce them to the Biosphere concept, the biodiversity we have and the importance of education about nature.

Night Flight!

The Fremington community were treated to an splendid evening with local Bats and Moths experts at Fremington Nature Reserve.

 There was an impressive turnout for this event with over 80 people in total. As dusk set they were guided through the Nature Reserve where they learnt about these amazing creatures. Bat detectors were handed out amongst the groups and several species were identified.

A special thanks goes to Tom Hynes, the event organiser,John and Mary Breeds, Sam Pickering, Cathy Chick and Steve Skirth for delivering a fantastic event.

Sowing the seed in September

We have also sent out lots of Yellow Rattle seeds to meadowmakers across the North Devon Biosphere Community and are really excited to seehow they get on!

Silas from Ilfracombe signed the Nature declaration plan.

Staff at Accord Healthcare made pledges to create a wildflowerpatch in their gardens.
