Adopt a stretch of lane or river and keep it clean of plastics and invasive plants.

• Many mass litter picking events have been cancelled but you can still undertake a #2minutebeachclean or solo litter pick in your local area.

All you have to do is pick up litter – safely, of course, using gloves and your own bags – for 2 minutes then share it to social media. It could be at the beach, your local park or in the street where you live. Remember every little bit matters. Easy!

This year they are also asking you to HELP  WITH THE VERY IMPORTANT JOB of counting the litter you pick up. To do this, download the app (search beachclean in your play or app store), log in and log the litter you pick up. The data can be used to stop polluters and influence change.
